ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

MARCH 2, 2006

7:00 P.M.  Called meeting to order.  Present:  Paula Keefe, Richard Gorden,

                  Ellen Abelson and Mark Mazur

1.  The Board was told that the Finance Committee will be announcing their FY2007

     budget recommendations on Monday 3/6/06 at 7:30 P.M. at the High School

     Library.

2.  The Board granted the following special abatements with the approval of the

     State Department of Revenue under the authority of M.G.L. Chapter 58

     Section 8:

3.  The Board abated the outstanding FY2004 taxes on parcel #76-14 under the authority

     of M.G.L. Chapter 59 Section 72A and at the request of the Conservation

     Commission.

4.  The Board signed four copies of a contract with G & K Associates for fiscal year 2007

     personal property revaluation assistance.

5.  The Board signed a letter to the Personnel Board with their recommendation for the

     fiscal year 2007 Administrative Assessor Salary.

6.  The Board reviewed the withdrawal for a fiscal year 2005 Appellate Tax Board case.

7.  The Board granted a fiscal year 2005 abatement as per a settlement agreement with

     the owners of parcel #124-29.

8.  The Board read a letter from a taxpayer requesting information that may be

     confidential.  The Administrative Assessor will check with an attorney from the state

     to help us respond appropriately.

9.  The Board took the following actions on fiscal year 2006 applications for abatement

     for the owners of the following parcels:
